Like any other type of insurance, Ultrashield tries ANYTHING they can to deny a claim for a repair. If you use the wrong word when describing your issue, they will say it isn't covered.

I caught the rep on this one...then was asked for a photo and it wss covered. I asked him why a photo isn't requested to avoid these "discrepancies"... No answer. But let's back up a moment...I left 3 voice mail messages that went unreturned requestng assistance with my claim.

I had to call local LazyBoy store manager who had to call U.S. 2 times before they'd call me.

I waited 8 weeks for the replacement part and then a repair date was scheduled 2 weeks out. Two days prior to my appointment, I received a call stating they overbooked the repair schedule and I'd been bumped.

response was they have no control over repair company...that they contract to! I only paid for Lazyboy furniture because of warranty..what a waste.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
